What is the right age to get married?

This topic often comes up and I don’t seem to get one concrete answer anywhere. Being in my early twenties, I would like to think that I am relatively too young to get married any time soon. I have friends who range between the ages of 26-28 who are still single. Trust me they are panicking already, as they are noticing that people they know who are in their age group are either engaged or married. Society has played a huge role in pressurizing young women to get married. You find that people will usually ask single women when they are getting married; forgetting that it is not entirely up to them, a man has to actually propose.

Ideally I would like to get married before I turn 30 preferably between 26-28 years as I would like to have my first child before 30 at least, I really don’t want to have a child out of wedlock as it tends to complicate life. Plus I would like my children to grow in an environment where there are two loving parents.

It’s hard to determine the right age to get married. I would like to think that it defers per individual. It depends on how mature you are to handle marriage as it comes with many responsibilities and it also depends on how financially stable you are. Remember that when you get married it means you will be waking up next to that same person every day for the rest of your life. Therefore when you enter into marriage you should ensure that it is something that you are ready for and sure about.
